Open source VS paid softwares. Which one is thriving?

Softwares are divided into two broad categories; one is the open source software while the other one is the paid source software. In this article, we will do an analysis of each of them. Here you go:
-          Open source software
In this software, the developer gives the license to copy the content of software and use it without any fee. It is therefore legal to use this type of software. Not only is this, but in this software, others can also modify the software but this modification should be made in the source code. Besides this, in the open source software, users work collaboratively and they share the ideas. This environment actually helps in fixing the bugs. Such softwares are also called as “free licensing software”.
-          Paid source software
In contrary to the open source software, there is paid source software. As the name defines, this software demands license to use. Thus, one has to pay the fee foe using this software. These paid softwares provide the additional benefit and are much more secure than the ones, which are free to use. Renowned companies are earning huge profits through these softwares.

As a conclusion, both of these softwares have their own importance and demand in the corporate sector. That software that are specifically designed for core business activities and have multiple benefits are in demand even if they require hefty budgets for buying the license. On the other hand, open source softwares are also well known for their easy to use functions and in small business where the budget is usually low. It has been observed that the corporate sector is looking for more privacy and optimum quality; due to this reason, paid softwares are expected to expand in the future.
