Nowadays there is an increased trend of telecommuting in workplaces, this trend is rising because businesses want to retain valuable employees and keep them creative and engaged. More and more employers are allowing their employees to work from their homes while keeping touch with the central office. This sometimes creates a problem while brainstorming for ideas as many employers are working from homes and they need to keep in touch to come up with creative ideas together.
Most of the employees that telecommute work 5 days from home and 2 days in the office, but this still does not give them the connection they need. Because of this growing trend a solution has been found, the business can establish a separate online network for the employees that are telecommuting, this will give them a way to assist and help one another in their work and stay connected with others for personal as well as professional dialog. There are many benefits of maintaining these social networks for employees that are working from home. One of the first and most important advantage is that people working in groups are more productive than individuals. When working alone most people show some kind of bias, this is because there is no supervision or coordination from others. Another aspect is that employees may get bored and demotivated working alone, they need a place to socialize and discuss matters with fellow employees. Employees can post pictures, graphs and notes for their fellow employees to provide support, this support is invaluable to most employees.

Another advantage of these social networks is that creativity is enhanced, if working alone an individual can get blocked by a shortage of ideas but as a group people can rely on each other for creative ideas.
